  • After number of failed attempts done on your Android mobile to unlock the device, tap Forgot pattern ?.
  • Tap Answer question.
  • Type the google security answer, then tap Unlock.

2) Using your primary Google account (Gmail account)

This reset method is only work’s on Android devices. You can reset the password (Pattern) using your primary Google account. you must have an active Internet connection on your device to reset you password.

  • After you have entered the wrong unlock pattern 5 times, wait above 30 seconds, then tap Forgot pattern ?.
  • Sign in using your primary Google account (Gmail account) username and password.
  • Draw a new unlock pattern or type password, then tap Continue.
  • Again Draw the new unlock pattern or type password and tap Continue.

Password is a secure thing which you can use for protecting your device.But there might be possibility when you may forget your windows xp password.Then you need to reset your password to access your system.

How to reset windows xp administrator password ?

If you want to reset windows XP administrator password then you need to follow given below steps.These steps will  help you to rectify your issue.

  • With the help of ctrl+ALT+DEL: If you have already login your windows XP then go to the windows screen.

  • Then you need to press ctrl+alt+del option to boot your device and to load the user login panel.

  • After that you need to press oK to attempt the login without enter username and password.

  • If still you face any issue then you need to type administrator in to the username field then press OK.

  • Now go to the control panel then select user account and click on the change account.

  • Here you will have to change the password and follow the on screen instruction.


How to reset windows xp administrator password without login ?

Delete User Data Files

The User Data folder contains all Google Chrome settings. You’re probably experiencing this problem because of corrupt user data files. Delete them to fix this problem.

  1. Double click My Computer desktop shortcut.
  2. Open following directory:
    C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
    (Do replace XXX with the actual User Name)
  3. Delete all sub folders, files present in the “Default” folder.

Delete Temp Folder Contents

Temp stands for Temporary Files. Temp is a folder located in the Windows directory. It contains temporary downloaded data, Internet cache contents, setup extracted files, and so on.


Failure to load Internet cache files cause this problem. Delete all files, sub folders in this directory to get rid of this problem. It works as a good Chrome Patch.

  1. Double click My Computer desktop icon.
  2. Open following directory:
    C:\Windows\TEMP
  3. Delete all files, sub folders.

Remove Extensions

Extensions are known as Plug-Ins/ Browser Add-Ons. These are small items associated with your web browser. Your problem is associated with these malfunctioning third party extensions. Remove all extensions.

  1. Click the Wrench icon. (It is located on the right hand side, on top)
  2. Select Tools option, and then Extensions.
  3. A new page opens. It shows all extensions installed within your web browser.
  4. Click the Trash icon next to each extension you would like to uninstall.

Turn Off Antivirus & Firewall Protections

Antivirus and Windows Firewall protections might be the issue here. Your problem can be associated with restricted Internet settings. Turn off your antivirus and firewall program as a Chrome Patch solution.

Turning Off Antivirus:

  1. Right click your Antivirus Notification Bar icon.
  2. Select Real-Time Protection | Turn Off until Next Reboot.
  3. Click the Yes button to confirm.

Turning Off Firewall:

  1. Click Start | Control Panel.
  2. Click System and Security | Windows Firewall.
  3. Click the top left hand side link- Turn Windows Firewall On or Off.
  4. Turn off firewall and then click OK | Close.
